How did I start making chiffon cakes? My parents love chiffons. However as my parents get older, I didn't like them eating commercially made ones. I wouldn't know the exact ingredients and I cannot control the amount of sugar in them. That's how I started making chiffons.
I am not one who stick by the rules. After the usual orange, lemon, vanilla flavours, I experimented with dried fruits, chocolate shavings, bananas, nuts etc.
That resulted in the more interesting flavours.
